When it comes to the 2016 Ford F-150, car shoppers are able to enjoy the luxury of choice due to the pickup's team of engines. That is, unless, they're hoping to find an F-150 equipped with a diesel engine. Fortunately though, according to the team at AutoGuide.com, shoppers can expect to see a diesel engine added to the F-150 engine lineup in just a few months. What makes their team so sure? While the automaker is currently keeping hush when it comes to details, rumor is that this engine will be a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel that was originally developed by both Ford and Land Rover many years ago. Expected to me mated to Ford's new 10-speed automatic transmission, this turbocharged engine would come rated at 254-horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque if utilized.
